Fusion analytics dashboard: combination charts, returns tables, allocation donut, and performance modules

Fusion Analytics Dashboard

Performance analytics dashboard for trading and ops teams. Built on Fusion Data Cubes: fast data selection, clear visualisations, reusable patterns.

about.

Project Overview

I worked on Fusion’s performance analytics features, surfacing returns, attribution, and risk across asset classes. We partnered with FactSet to integrate their analytics engine into Fusion’s reporting interface.

The challenge was turning complex analytics into board-ready dashboards people could act on. The interface had to support advanced filtering and deep slicing of data, stay readable under pressure, and move the legacy RaaS UI into a responsive web layout.

Dashboard widgets showing performance table, returns bars, allocation donut, history area chart, and trend combination chart
Dashboard modules Performance tables, returns charts, allocation donuts, and trend visualizations, all built as modular widgets that asset managers can configure to their workflow.

My Role

As Product Designer and UI Lead, I drove most day-to-day design decisions across the year: tokens, layout, component patterns, and accessibility. I defined the component structure in Figma against Salt Design System, turning trading desk needs into reusable patterns across the module.

Design Process

I worked with the product owner on requirements, then iterated with UX, product, development, and an ADA specialist through review cycles.

The dashboard had to handle large real-time and historical datasets, with filters, toggles, aggregation views, and comparison tools. I kept the interface modular so it could adapt to different data cube complexity and user permissions.

Configuration flow: standard grid with column and group selection for portfolio metrics
Configuration panel Column, group, and display controls built with Salt Design System components, letting analysts tailor grids and data hierarchies without leaving the analysis surface.
Combination chart with fund and benchmark bars, excess line, and supporting data table
Combination charts Fund vs benchmark bars with excess line overlays and linked data tables, designed for board-ready reporting and at-a-glance performance comparison.
Fusion Analytics: sustainable investment issuer report with ESG scores, rating trends, emissions data, and controversies tracking
Sustainable investment reporting ESG scores, rating trends, emissions tracking, and controversies data, layered across issuer-level reports with configurable dashboard pages and deep data exploration.
