JPMM Research Platform

Research discovery platform for institutional analysts at J.P. Morgan Markets. IA-first redesign, clearer paths, faster relevance.

about.

Project Summary

Analysts and clients were trying to find relevant research inside a sprawling library of reports, notes, and data publications. Search was weak, personalisation was missing, and every user saw the same undifferentiated feed.

My Role

As UI Designer, I led visual and interaction design for the platform. I worked with product and engineering on workshops, Figma specifications, and handoff, with layouts built for fast scanning.

Design Process

I worked through a content audit and taxonomy redesign with research authors, editorial staff, and end users. That classification system became the backbone of faceted search and filtering.

Analysts needed to scan many results quickly, so the interface prioritised dense list views over card-heavy layouts, with progressive detail on hover.
