Overview
Worked on the modernisation of a trading platform UI, bringing legacy interfaces in line with a unified Market UI standard. The goal was to improve clarity, speed, and usability for traders working across multiple asset classes and execution workflows.
The project spanned pre-trade, execution, and post-trade activities, consolidating fragmented tools into a cohesive, responsive experience across desktop and tablet.
My Role
As UI Designer, I modernised the trading UI with the UX team, aligning to Market UI for clarity and speed. I designed scalable flows and maintained consistency through a shared design system in close collaboration with product and engineering.
Key responsibilities included designing order entry flows, price tile layouts, strategy builders, and real-time data displays, ensuring every component met performance and accessibility standards.
Key Focus Areas
Real-time price tiles, order management grids, strategy configuration panels, and multi-asset trading views, all optimised for speed and information density without sacrificing clarity.
Designed reusable patterns for spot, forward, and options trading workflows, with consistent interaction models across FX, rates, and commodities.
